Summer Team Training

These are local programs that anyone can join for coached workouts and/or receive a team training plan.  This is not to be confused with our Online Team Training program.  We also offer these additional services in Penticton.

 

June 7 - September 4

 

Enjoy a full summer of training with our team and coaches.  Nothing beats summer training here in the Okanagan.  People from across the country come here to enjoy our beautiful weather and scenery. 

 

TEAM TRAINING SCHEDULE

Tuesday  6:00 – 7:00am     Swim (Skaha Beach)

Tuesday  5:45 - 7:15pm       Cycling (The Peach on Lakeshore Ave)

Thursday  6:00 – 7:00am    Swim (Skaha Beach)

Thursday  5:30 - 6:30pm       Running (Community Track – Pen High)

MEMBERSHIPS

1.  Full Team Membership ($189/month + tax)

  • Access to all team training sessions.
  • Personal Coaching which includes:
    • Individual training plan for specific races and goals.
    • Start-up interview, planning and personal discussion.
    • Direct email or phone communication with your coach.
    • Personal race plans and race reviews.
    • Personal field testing and training zone set-up.
  • Free access to our training camps (April 22-25).
  • Full access to all of our training and racing materials on our team website.
  • Access to our team forum to share stories, take part in discussions and to ask questions.
  • Online communication tools that lays out your training program and where you can keep an online training log.
  • Additional personal training (one on one time) can be purchased at discounted hourly rate of: $50/hr + tax.

2.  Basic Team Membership ($99/month + tax)

  • Full access to all our weekly team sessions each and every week including swims.
  • Team training plan available on our team website.
  • Full access to our team website which contains articles and information for Factor 9 athletes only.
  • Access to our team forum to share stories, take part in discussions and to ask additional questions.
  • Routes for long rides and long runs.
  • Free access to our training camps.

3.  Workout Membership ($49/month + tax)

  • Join us for up to 3 hours of training each week.
  • Come to the open water swims or come for the bike/run workouts or any combination of the three.
  • Swim sessions include open water drills, swim technique drills, endurance and speed work.
  • Great for triathletes, cyclists, or runners looking to drop in for workouts.
  • Bike and run workouts include skill development, endurance and speed training.
  • Camps are not included in workout memberships, just the team memberships.
  • Personal run or cycling coaching is $119/month, or personal programs can also be built based on our consultation rates.

 


Team Membership Terms

HST (12%) is added to the fees above.  There are typically no team workouts on holidays (and major race weekends in the late spring and throughout the summer).  Minimum of 10 people required to maintain team workout schedule.  One month notice is required to cancel payments for monthly memberships.  There are no lifeguards present for team swims. Swim at your own risk.
